Warning: Ridiculously Long Post. You might want to grab a snack.

We have a few bits of information and upcoming events that we'd like to inform you of, please:

Yes, this is my truck, and yes, I will help you move.

We're getting a few people together to help our own David Stewart move to his new place this Saturday, November 23rd, beginning at 10am.

Bring a truck, bring a trailer, bring some extra humans in your truck to help load stuff up, and we'll get it knocked out in no time!

Thank you, those who have already volunteered to help.  Everyone else, please send us an email to let us know if you can help.

Speaking of transportation...

A member of our class who is a probation officer has a client who is wanting to come to church.  Because of the nature of her relationship with this lady, she is not allowed to provide that transportation herself.

We need someone who is willing to provide rides to and from church for this lady, at least initially.

If you're willing to help, or if you have any questions, please send us an email and we'll get in touch with you to discuss specifics.

Class Christmas Party!

We'll have our class Christmas party during the Sunday School hour on Sunday, December 15th.  This will be a pot luck event, so bring your best Christmas dish!  We'll also have music, fun and games, and valuable* prizes!

It'll be a lot of fun, so make plans to join us on December 15th!

(*Prizes will not actually be valuable.)

Hospital Service Project

Plans are still in the works for a near-Christmas service project, in which we will seek to bless those who have children in the hospital around Christmas time.  Details will be forthcoming soon, so stay tuned!

The Gospel of John

This week we'll wrap up chapter 8 of John's gospel.  We can't encourage you enough: please be prayerfully reading your Bible as often as you can, and ask God to help you do it!

Bring your thoughts and comments to class this Sunday, and we'll work together to learn about what God has for us in this text.

Prayer Journal

When you get a chance, please offer some kind words or send a note of thanks to bothAlison Burke and Pam Switzer.

Alison began the Prayer Journal portion of our ministry about a year ago, and served faithfully week after week in getting our class's prayer requests sent out via email.

Now Pam has graciously taken over the work, and we thank her for doing so.

Speaking of the Switzers, you're up for breakfast this Sunday!  Double duty for the Switzers this week!

We very much appreciate all of you in our class, and we are especially thankful to God that we get to work together in sharing his Word with those around us.
